Hi, Gloria. I'm sorry to hear about dear Ann. Try not to over-focus on the 'gloom and doom' statistics that get laid on you at diagnosis. Many people outlive them, so it's more productive to focus on treatment options (that you can learn about here for Ann). Also might consider suggesting an anti-depressant for her. My mom is on one called Paxil, and it really helps her. Attitude is important, especially if it might be interfering with potential help that's available out there. These are big, although personal decisions. Sending you both prayers and hope. St. Gerard.
