My husband has just been diagnosed with this fairly rare type of Pancreatic cancer. It is in the head of the pancreas and our local Dr is recommending a Whipple. Since it is not a common type of pancreatic cancer we are unsure of having it done locally. I can't seem to find much information on this type of pancreatic cancer and a Dr that specializes in same. Does anyone have any ideas????
