Not quite the exact same situation but similiar. Dad had a whipple on Oct. 13 his cancer was 1 cm., no lymph node involvement, poorly defined. Dad was a diabetic and it took him longer to heal than a normal person. By Jan we found out dads cancer was back because he had developed fluid on his lung. The fluid had to be drained and some was sent to cytology. The cytology report came back suspicious of cancer. After furthur test were done we found out his cancer was indeed in his lung. Dad died on Feb 1, he has been gone slightly over two years. I know the horrible feeling your entire family is feeling right now and my heart goes out to you. I will remember your mama in prayer. I hope you get better news than we did. Hugs Lillie
