Another question. Dan has diabetes and has had it since 1994. Since he was in the hospital in December 2003 when he was diagnosed with PC, he has been on insulin. His diabetes doctor told him he could eat anything he wanted to and we would balance his sugars out with the insulin. Does that sound right to you??? That is what we have been doing since then and Dan enjoys anything he wants to eat or drink, even orange juice which is what he had missed so much. He does sugar checks four times a day and it isn't anything for him to have over 50 units morning, lunch, and dinner with Lantus 68mg at bedtime.

I read where cancer feeds on sugar and other nutrients in our body. That has really concerned me. What is someone elses thoughts on this?
