Chemo and radiation is probably his best shot to extend his life. There are several people here on different combos, the only chemos I know of that are approved for PC is gemcitabine and 5FU, although many do chemo combos such as gemcitabine and cisplatin and etc. and have done so with promising results. 5FU is often given along with radiation. Each person is different in how well they tollerate chemo. Some do well while others are sick. I'd suggest you read as much as you can here on the board. There is a search feature on the right and you can type in any subject and read all that has been written, such as chemo...then you can read the different chemos and the results many are having. Hugs Lillie
