Bonnie, I'm sorry I haven't had time to keep up with all the posts so I don't know your history (your husband's) with symptoms - seems it's different for everyone - for my friend the early symptoms were mainly jaundice (couldn't miss that one!) and stomach problems - gas and feeling like things weren't moving out of her stomach (her intestine was partially blocked by a tumor). DON'T wait for drs to get around to you - start demanding answers, tests, whatever.. this disease moves so very fast and the sooner they find it the better - if that is indeed what he has - altho prognosis for pc is never good. I've learned to be VERY assertive with drs. and not to be afraid to keep asking questions until I get all the answers we need. Or to change drs. if the one you have seems reluctant or uninformed. They are being paid by US to HELP us, so we deserve to get the information and tests we need. My best to both of you - pardon me if I sound militant, I'm really a gentle person, but seeing what my friend is going through has made me use my power to move a few mountains!! She was back in the hospital last week and they put her in a room with a woman with active strep throat!!!!! the last thing a cancer patient needs is to be exposed to infection like that! Needless to say I got her into a private room. Bless all the nurses, they are usually so very responsive, but you do have to be firm with the drs. And I know all too often you don't get results if you aren't persistant and on top of everything. Good luck! Carol C.
