Thank you all for your kind words and suggestions. I didn't give my name before because it is a long Indian name and most people here in the US can't pronounce it, but then I thought no one needs to in a written forum! My dad is on Aciphex but if people have had success with Nexium, I'll ask his doc. He thinks my dad may be developing partial small bowel obstruction which is giving him the nausea, vomiting, and belching. He had stopped the Gemzaar last week and wanted to give my dad a rest before starting the Xeloda. But I asked him today to give him another dose of the Gemzaar this week- even a partial effect is better than none. Hope all will be well for him and for everyone here.
