I posted this message earlier but thought some might miss it.

The above disclaimer should also include something about the need to ignore posts made by those who are jealous, insensitive, or ????

I've been given advice for my friend that was 'way out there' but given with kindness and care. While I didn't recommend the advice, I still apreciate the attempt made to help.

The beauty of this forum is the ability to give and receive positive thoughts and encouragement, advice, etc. without having to worry about judgement. Those dealing with PC (personally or through family or friends)have more than their share of negative impact on their lives with the disease.

I read all posts and advice knowing that the things said may or may not apply or even work the same way because of the unique circumstances. Thankfully, every person is unique or this would be a boring world.

Hope, encouragement, love, kindness, patience, peace, joy,and any other 'fruits' feed the soul, which needs fed more than the body during difficult times.

May a cure be found today and if not today, VERY soon.

If the 'cure' is going to be a separation for a time, may the separation be long in coming and pain free. May we who are left not dwell on the separation but live life so that we bring honor to those who are away as so many are doing.

Positive thought and prayers to all.

P.S. This board is also an excellent place to 'vent' frustrations, depressing news, etc... Getting things off of our chest here makes it possible to face others and the future with renewed strength.

Peace
