Hall my husband was dx in 12/26 with met liver (in good health--but fatique). It took 59 days for him to start treatment, between second opinion and so on. He did consider letting the PC just take him, thinking old school on Chemo, but they truly have given him quality time and we only have just started--just over into second set and he feel a difference in his liver.

I hope that the time be buy that we may fine something better. You have to fight for his life and keep looking on the Board and everywhere else for what is knew and promising. I won't say that he does not have days he does not feel so good (has had about every side effect but in a mild state) and on weekends sleeps a lot. He is still working and enjoying his family. He has better days then prior to chemo--he was fadding fast. He is on Gemzar/Xeloda but there are several combos out there that are working to give quality of life. Also drugs to off set most side effects and they work.

Don't give up--fight for him. Michele
