All we know is that Lloyd has needed twice that amount of oxycontin 3X daily for pain relief, plus two 325 mg tabs of Percoset between times (plus phenergan, 50 mg for nausea). Apparently it has to do with the fact that the tumor is pressing on nerves, signalling pain & nausea. Apparently important, also, is to make sure your doc doesn't believe in pain. Catherine
