Thanks for the warm welcome Marj. Michael is 42, and has his 13 year old daugter living with him. He has seen 3 specialists, and they all concur....inoperable due to incasement of the celiac artery and splenic portal vein. It is 7cmm x 5 cm. Very large. His oncoloigist is Alton Blow at CCOM (cancer care of maine). I went with him to Dana Farber, and the oncoligist there recomended the same treatment. All three CT scans show no mets. This is not a typical PC. It is arising out of the 'body' of the Pancreas. He is just so discouraged in in so much pain, and now vomiting and so sick. I just hope this is what is right. Thanks again for the welcome. It helps to know that there are other people out there that are living with this horrible disease.
