Hi all,

Just wanted to share some good news.

After a long year (Dad dx jan 02, 1 attempted whipple in feb 02, a 2nd successful total pancreatotomy in may 02, and a third emergency surgery to fix a perforated intestine creating massive infection in aug 02) my father had his port removed this past week.

This was a big deal to him since it is the 1st time in over a year that he has not had 'anything' foreign sticking out of him. He feels that he can finally start looking ahead to the future.

Have a good day,

Alicia
