If you add a hideous rash to that description you have described my husband,s onset of pc. He is doing fairly well 9 monthes later. He did gemzar/ciplatin and that cleared his liver though he has a lot of bone disease. They stopped chemo to radiate bones. Now he has 3 new liver lesions so we will bump his chemo back up. Throughout the ordeal he has worked and coached his basketball team. Certainly, everyone and every cancer is different. Best wishes for your mom.
