Sorry you have reason to be here, but you've certainly come to the right place for help and support. First of all, what's in store for you is to step back, and take a deep breath. A normal CA 19-9 range is 0-35. Don't be alarmed, though, it's not considered a definitive test and at least your Mom's count is on the way down. Also, sounds like her news is on the positive side. My husband is also Stage IV, but our doctors explained that we need not over-worry about the staging, it is basically for the doctors to understand what kind of treatment is needed. You are doing everything right, just be there for your Mom and offer whatever comfort you can. This isn't an easy battle, so you will need to help her to run ahead of it. Take time for yourself, too, I'm sure you're feeling very stressed. Come here anytime, we all care and understand exactly what you're going through. Hang in there.

Best wishes, Mary Lou K.
