Isn't waiting hell? I've been on Gemzar & Marimastat since 11/97 when they found 3 small mets in my liver & have CT scans every 8 weeks. Not only is the waiting anguish, but the lab I use is very disorganized & since they're connected to a hospital, emergency room patients get first priority. Therefore, I usually have to wait at least an hour (most of the time 2 or more hours). Anyway, each time the results were sent to my onc, they essentially said no change. Well, the study sponsor refused to accept this so 2 months ago they made the radiologist fill out a form specifically describing each tumor in size & shape & comparing them from one CT to the next. Well it turns out that 2 of the 3 are gone & the biggest which is still there has gotten smaller. That doesn't seem like "no change" to me. Make sure the lab gives your onc very specific results. I hope the results are at least as good as mine if not better.
