Hi Carol: I'm in exactly the same spot as you right now. My Mom is in agony and somehow, she is still hanging on. She has her dr, nurses and the whole medical team perplexed, confounded and amazed that she is still alive. Her pain is agonizing, despite having had the dilaudid increased almost daily. She can't sleep, is tense and hallucinating. How much worse can it get? My Dad is a basket case and it seems that the reality has finally hit him. He was still hoping for a miracle. I'm sorry to be so graphic but it's just so unbelievable to me that her suffering continues. I'm praying that God will take these 2 angels soon - it is time. Hugs to you - Love Danielle
