My dad had terrible problems with nausea during his second 3 week round of chemo. He started on Zofran every 8 hours whether he needed it or not. Now he's on his third 3 week round and he's doing fine. It took a few days to start controlling the nausea. Don't know if this would work for your mom, but thought I'd share. Oh, my dad is also on Marinol, so the two together might be why he's doing well. The Marinol alone didn't control it, but he's actually put on 6 pounds since he started on the Zofran, and he takes Megace too. Good luck. Now that he's comfortable, he's fighting the good fight again!
