Hello. I am sorry to hear about your sister and having to wait until Monday for more results. What tests have they already taken? Was the tumor in the pancreas based on a CT Scan? Has she taken an MRI yet? I am new to the board and dont know much about pancreatic cancer as my first posting was a week ago w/my mother. Others on the board will be more helpful. My mother was sick for a long time without knowing the true problem until an ultrasound was done. Something was found. A tumor in the pancreas. Then, a ct scan showed the tumor was larger than a grapefruit. Then, a MRI showed the same as the ct scan but cd not tell if tumor had made it to the liver. Then, a biopsy on 1-30-03 where the surgeon opend her up and closed her up. The tumor had made it to the liver. She was dx(diagnosed) with pancreatic cancer, 4th stage. Thats my story. I hope some info helps but my thoughts are with you. Again, I do hope this doesnt end up being this thing/pancreatic cancer. Christine R
