Several on the board can tell you the chemo's their loved ones are doing. I know gemzar and 5F-U are both used for PC and lately several have been talking about different combo's their loved ones are on. Hopefully your mama can get enough shrinkage to make a whipple possible later. The tumor marker test is a blood test. It is called a CEA or a CA19-9, I don't know about the CEA but the CA19-9 depending on the lab used normal is 0-34. You will want to see the numbers go down during treatment. Keep us posted. Where are you from? I noticed you called your mama mum and thought you may be from England. Hugs Lillie
