Billie McDonald died of Pancreatic Cancer last night. She was a member of my cancer support group, 'Beyond Cancer'. After many months of pain, weight loss, and other symptoms, she was finally diagnosed with PC in November 2001. There was vein involvement which would not allow surgery. Radiation was ruled out too, because of the location of the tumor. Billie was on chemo for a while, but chemo did not work for her. She spent a rather happy year with her children and grandchildren, going on trips, visiting, and making memories. Up until a couple of weeks ago Billie attended group on a weekly basis. She was liked and loved by many. I thought this would be the perfect place to honor her passing. Thank you and God bless all of you. Starlite
