I am responding to your post a page or so back in re: to chemo.

The standard treatment for pancreatic cancer is Gemzar (www.gemzar.com.) However, many on this board have been trying different chemo combos, which is Gemzar + another drug(s). Gemzar + CPT-11 or Gemzar + cisplatin seems to be the most common combos. Other drugs I have seen mentioned are: Xeloda, taxotere, and 5-FU. There are different trials that are available, but often the patient must not have had any chemo prior to the trial.

There are other websites that may be of help to you: Pancan--use the purple ribbon on the main page of this board or call 1-877-2-PANCAN. They can also help find doctors in your area.

The National Pancreas Foundation at www.pancreasfoundation.org

I hope some of this helps. There is so much information to sift through, Good luck, GLE
