Hello-
I find myself back on here again, seems like it has been quite a qhil esince
I have been here. i am writing to give an update on my step dad, I had
originally posted it 1-12-02.
My step dad lost his battle to PC on 12-3-02, just 2 1/2 months ago. He was
Dx in January of 2002, and given 2-4 months to live and he lived almost a
year. So, for that we haev to be thankful. His battle wsa a long one, but for
most of the time he was doing great. He lost a ton of weight, adn towards the
end gained a lot back due to ascities, his whole tummy filled with fluid.
Thanks to everyone for all your advice, and for being here for me when I
would come on here looking for help, adn advice. I just want to wish to you
all, please enjoy all the time you have with your loved one, adn dont
necessairly agree with the time frame given by your doctor, it may be longer,
then again it could be shorter. Truth is.....NO ONE knows!
God bless you all. If anyone would like to chat, feel free to email me at

@msn.com I am always interested in chatting about this, it makes
the pain seem a little less 'excruciating'!
