Most patients with pc which is not under control--just seem to get weaker and weaker over time. Your mom sounds as if she wants to take control of her life. This is her battle, she wants to be the captin in charge. If her Dr say it is ok let her do as much as she wants and just be there for her. Love her, hug her and be as supportive and strong as you can. Let her make the decisions based on as much information as she wants. It is very difficult to watch and support someone you love who has this horrible disease. Don't let her down. Check with her Dr. if he says no to an activity get his reasoning and some options and inform your mom but let her make the decisions. With prayer, support, more prayer and true grit your mom could be living for many more years. Hugs to you and your mom. Pattie
