Rick went the other way. He cut all his hair off completely before starting the chemo and radiation route. We read where losing it in gobs can play havoc on the drains in the house. So, he had a buzz cut. Well, ever since I knew him he had worn a full beard and medium length hair so when he walked into the house like this I almost fell over. He hadn't told me he was going to the barber that day. About 4 months later when he went on the F.A.M. chemo regime and we went on our cruise to Alaska, his short hair turned snow white and started to thin. About 6 months later, it all turned brown again and grew back. So we went the gamut with it. He had two surgeries too and the scar was very long and ugly too. He was a very good looking guy and all this really didn't bother him but everyone is very different. He just wanted to fight for his life and whatever it took etc. The only thing that really bothered him was losing so much weight as he had been 225# and very athletic most of his life. When he died he weighted about 135#.
