My dad is 67. He is still working, although only 4 hrs a day. He is not in
any pain right now and is in good spirits. He was jaundiced, but the doctors
instered a stent, which returned him to comfort and normal functions. That is
what doctors say about the final stages (sleeping a lot) and thats how I hope
we all go when its our time. As far as your dad mowing the lawn that is good
to hear. Its good to keep reasonably active -- keep the blood pressure up and
muscles working, which wil help his digestion process. My dad has shortness
of breath at times which is also a symptom of cancer. If your dad has the
same, he may want to take a break from lawnmoving and do less strenous things.
