My mom, 72, is in the hospital. She has had a CT scan, ultrasound, HIDAscan, and colonoscopy. All show no mass, but her bile duct is dilated. She also has an elevated CA 125, Amylase, and RDW. The gastroenterologist has ordered a bone scan. Does this sound like he's trying to diagnose BDC or PC? My dad died of pc and the Dr. never ordered a bone scan. She is also having an ERCP this evening.

Symptoms are diarreah, upper right quadrant pain, fatigue, swelling of abdomen and ankles. No jaundice or itching....yet.

Any info or insight you have would be helpful.

Thanks,

Paige
