Can you believe it, or are you still in shock like me??!!! Last night I was looking over past entries in my journal, May 11, I wrote..I am convinced Lou will have the Whipple. I don't even remember writing that. I know the 13th will come fast. This Weds, Lou has chemo...Thur morning sees the anesthesiologist, Thur aftenoon, the medical doc. The next Tues, sees the surgeon. So far the only thing I know about the pre-op day is a laxative in the morning and antibiotics in the afternoon...liquid diet. I will be thinking about you and Frank on the 5th...and praying for great results. With all the bad in this, there can be good!! I'm trying so hard to remember that. How is Frank feeling?? I'm sure you are as nervous and happy as me. Can't wait for your post-op report. take care, Melanie
