i'm sorry to hear that you are going thru all of this emotional pain....it's strange how 'not feeling well' can turn into something so serious! my father is on gemzar and he seems to tolerate it well...why did you also chose to use cisplatin? what have you heard about it? mrs dolphin talks about mitomycin c- that might also be something to check into...i just want to say that there is a LOT of hope out there...i am constantly amazed by the stories i read here about people who were inoperable but have been fighting this disease for a long time...on 8-29-02 there was a post 'DX WHAT TO DO' lillie answered the question by cutting and pasting a response that included a story from mrs stein whose husband was dx as inoperable but survived for five years! read it if you get the chance...it will give you hope! wishing you all the best of luck. joanne B
