My husband has had the CT scan as well as the endoscopy (2) times. He does
have jaudice and they kept him in the hospital 8 days doing tests and we are
no further along at understanding the problem. We have not received the
biopsy reports back on his gall bladder and lymph nodes. He is scheduled for
a Whipple procedure this Wednesday. Today we decided to put the skids on. We
will meet with his oncologist tomorrow to ask why they want to do this
radical procedure without knowing the results of the biopsy of the gall
bladder and lymph nodes. To my knowledge they have not done a CA 19-9 blood
test. Thanks for your input. I will ask the questions you suggested.
