Gallbladder and Bile Duct Cancer Web

Has your husband had a CT scan and a CA 19-9 blood test? Together these
tests should show some indication of bile duct cancer. Has he also had an
upper endoscopy done? If there is an obstruction he would need a stent put
in to open the duct up. That can be done with an upper endoscopy procedure.
Does he have jaundice? That is a sign of blockage in the bile duct.
Did you get back a pathology report on the gall bladder that was taken out or
the removed lymph nodes? Also ask your physician how experienced they are
with bile duct cancer. Hope you get some answers and its not cancer.
