My husband had CA values 20000 in Dec 2000, then it went down to 9000 with a one time shot of mytomicin, then it went up to 40000 and 120000 and 25000 and 350000, all this while trying different chemos. In may it went down by 1500000 while using CPT 11 but very soon it was again 450000 and by that time his liver could not take it anymore. But as you see if one of the chemos worked it did go down. You never know. I know this is hard and not so good news, but don't give up the hope, Leah
