my Dad was in the hospital recently suffering from a bout of delerium which has since passed. The dr.'s are not sure of the cause, (his liver is functioning normally), but they did prescribe Zyprexa in the hope of calming his agitation and possibly helping him to sleep. It does not seems to help him sleep and as a matter of fact, my Father believes it is having the opposite affect, perhaps causing sleepessness! Does anyone have a similar situation and/or use of this drug? Thank You!
