My dad is 76, went to the doctor on 7/16, and his doc suspected a tumor on
the pancreas. Had first CT scan on 7/18 and found a 4 cm tumor that appears
to be isolated. He is scheduled for needle biopsy on Monday 7/22, results on
7/24. My mother will be his caregiver. They have both been very healthy,
exercise, eat low-fat, see doc regularly, do all the appropriate screenings
and preventative procedures. They have both been heavily involved in
Hospice, my father as a pastor, my mother as a social worker. They just
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 5 with the entire family (4
children and 9 grandchildren).
