I would have loved to bring home my father in law from the hospital. The last few days/weeks of PC are almost unmanageable unless you have 24 hour profressional care and a morphine pump loaded for the long haul. PLEASE SEE ABOUT A LONG TERM STAY IN THE HOSPITAL IF YOUR INSURANCE WILL COVER IT. The hospital is going to fight you for the bed. If the bed count is low, it should not be a problem.
