Hi Judi..Nausea is very common right after surgery. I take sometimes 3 to 6 enzymes during a meal..depending on fat content. Like Lillie said..they must be taken all throughout the meal. It takes a while to get the appetite going. The anti-depressant Remeron seems to have a side affect of increasing the appetite. Good luck..and take care..Ray..
