Hi Shari:

I know - I come from a very medically oriented background. We are dealing with PC ourselves and the patient (my father ) is a doctor himself. That is why I said what I did. Sometimes, I think that people don't realize how involved / dangerous it is. They need to be informed that it is not just an everyday procedure. I do agree that with a good surgeon and the like that the mortality is good but , it is not something that I would consider for pallative care that is for sure.

I was going to write you myself a few days ago. I saw a response to something that you had written about blocked duct = jaundice=itching. I knew exactly where you were coming from.

Now I feel that I have to re-read and tone down everything that I say for fear that someone will blast me for being realistic and honest.

All the best.

Vicky
