There is not necessarily a whole lot of value to the 'tumor marker' - it would be great if it was a reliable source of information - progress or trouble - but it isn't - the number can increase or decrease based on many factors other than the cancer - and it is used to measure progress in more than one type of cancer - it is not a reliable source of information - the ct scan results, however, do sound far more reliably promising.

Read the last few days posts - someone (I believe it was Lisa in AZ, but I can't swear to that) wrote about how her father's numbers were decreasing, so they had hope that the treatments were working, but indeed, the tumor was growing, not shrinking -
