If slings get necessary...then from our experience...you will have BRAGGING RIGHTS...get my drift?? I was told it is not uncomfortable, as long as you are in a prone postion. But, the idea is not to get there in the first place, since it is VERY difficult to go back. Your Dr. and you should be monitoring your protein level and your albumin closely...when albumin gets low, the blood vessels cannot keep the fluid component of the blood contained and it leaks out into the tissue. It is difficult to reverse, but I was told that aldactone and lassix are drugs that help. They just didn't help Glen. Best of luck and keep us laughing...I think I am one of the few who can have a definite 'visual image'...SMILE!!!

See you in LV!!!
