My sister was diagnosed with gall bladder cancer in April of 2001. She died on July 22, 2001. She lived only 3 1/2 months. Her gall bladder cancer had already metasized to the liver when they found it. Her final days were spent sitting in a chair watching tv. She had very little pain, but the last few weeks everything she ate came back up. She sat up in the chair (got out of bed herself and walked to the chair) every day until the day she died. The day she died she was too weak to get out of bed. She knew she was dying and she told my parents she loved them and that she was dying. The nurse came and gave her some nitroglycerine and shortly after that she left us. I pray your loved one is as blessed as my sister, Debbie, in that her passing was very gentle.
