Hi Sue...Glad to hear that John has only one more rad. treatment and wow, off morphin too? How are you coping with this rollercoaster ride? It's been over a year since my John started feeling ill, did'nt find out what was wrong untill Aug. though. It does'nt seem that long ago. My goodness , time flies does'nt it? My John is hanging in there. Last week he did not take his gemzar treatment because I was going out of town for the weekend and he did'nt want to take the chance of getting sick with me gone and him alone with the kids.Girlfreinds invited me to go to the Keys with them, I said no but he wanted me to go, said I deserved a little vacation. All I did was worry the whole time I was gone. I won't do it again. He went to the doctors on Wed. His platlets were low so he only had half of the chemo. I don't understand why his platlets were low because he did'nt have any chemo the week before. I'm a little worried about that.He has been sleeping alot in the afternoons and up all night. The pain has gotten worse and he is taking more morphin. One of his other blood tests went up also, I don't remember which one though. I'am concerned, I have a bad feeling that something else is wrong now and he seems worried also. This is so hard. My doctor put me on antidepressants also. Don't feel any different with or without them. I guess we just have to hang in there and fight. This has not been an easy battle but we can not give up. We have to hope and pray for the best. You take care..Love and Prayers....Becky B.
