Hi Becky - Aren't these doctors wonderful??? How are you doing? How is John feeling? I really hope everything is OK. It really tests us - doesn't it? John finishes his radiation tomorrow - he's thrilled! It has to have worked some as he's off the Morphine pills and now only taking a Darvon maybe every couple of days. Has terrible discomfort in his abdomin (not pain) and very, very weak. I'm hoping and PRAYING that's from rad. but he's still very scared! They want to start Gemzar in 2 weeks - Isn't that what your John's on? We haven't absolutely decided as talked to Stehlin today and may go down 1st week in June. John is thinking he'd feel safer having Gemzar first as he's scared to let 2 wks. go by not doing anything as can't go to Stehlin until 4 weeks after radiation. It is so hard to know the right thing to do but we will continue to FIGHT for these guys lives! Love and prayers, Sue C.
