MaryEllen & Everyone.... Thanks for all your understanding and kind words. At this point, I'm going to wait until Tuesday so I don't upset my mother any further. But, I can assure you, I am going to have a signed formed w/me so I don't have to deal with this in the future. I just want to make one more point....The doctor's, nurses, office staff, lab tech's, etc.....all work hard and I do appreciate it, but just remember this....it isn't 'routine' or 'normal' when your loved one has pancreatic cancer....it doesn't make any of us feel better to hear about laws, standard office procedure, our office policy, etc....if it were YOU (the medical professional) who's mother/father/loved one has pancreatic cancer, you would understand that there is NOTHING routine about it and you certainly wouldn't wait 6 days for a CATscan result. This disease tears you up and tears your life apart. As Scarlett O'Hara would say....tomorrow is another day. Hugs to all. HelenS
