My husband lost his pancreas 8 years and four months ago and is still
surviving. He is now 77 and trying hard to recover from a bout or pneu. and
bacteria. He has been hospitalized for 7 wks. I am a 66 yr.old and teach
Special Ed. It is so difficult being the caregiver. I truly believe he is a
miracle man . I also consider myself a survivor. I would love hearing from
someone out there who knows of anyone who has survived longer than my
husband, without a pancreas. Shirley
