THE JOHNS HOPKINS MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS
Pancreas Cancer Web
Ray and wife Sue
My name is Ray..I was dx with PC in Sept 2001..and had the Whipple in the
same month. I've been happily married for 30yrs..with 2 sons. My doctor
says that he got it all..but there was cancer in one of the lymph nodes.
As far as prognosis..My doctor said he could pretty much quarauntee me a
year..but after that it was hard to predict.
This board has really helped me..as have my family and friends. I'm
leaving my webpage here that explains a little more about me..and shows my
family. Good luck to everyone.. Life is Good..
I feel very fortunate. I love life..although I don't always understand it.
I try to stay positive..and as long as I'm not in pain I do pretty well.
But..I confess that pain makes it much more difficult to be happy go
lucky. This board has been a
godsend..There are so many great human beings on here..and they motivate
and inspire me.. Here is an old webpage I made about 6 yrs ago that shows
me and my family. http://hometown.aol.com/rainmakr44/rain.html
