The drs inserted the pump in my Mom last night for the pain meds. My sister was there with her for 3 hours and she didn't have any pain. She also had her first radiation treatment (they did go ahead with it). When she got back to the hospital, she was nauseous again (she hadn't been for about 4 days). So now that there is no pain, we have to get her to eat, which may not be easy since I understand one of the side effects of the radiation is that you have no appetite. She goes to see her radiation oncologist today too for an update.
