Because it is a virus, anyone can get it. It may exhibit itself simply as a upper respiratory infection, with a low-grade fever. Anyone who has a compromised immunity, such as anyone on chemo, etc., the virus can be threatening. Otherwise, it will display itself as a typical virus, and run its course in three days to a week, the person will get the rash or sunburn look (or "slapped-face" effect), and it will go away.
