There is a clinical trial for bile duct cancer patients at the Mayo Clinic
(Rochester) and some other treatment centers. It consists of 5FU, Gemzar and
Leutovicin (spelling). My husband, 37, has been receiving treatments for 4
months. His CA 19-9 went from 90 to 29 and his tumour has shrunken somewhat.
We live in Canada and were able to get this treatment without participating
in the clinical trial. All the drugs are available in the United States. We
were at the Mayo Clinic during the summer and were informed about this
