The only way I know is thru an ERCP, an outpatient procedure where the patient is anethsitized & a tube put down to his liver to insert a stent that unblocks the bile duct. This is done by going thru his mouth & down the intestines without any cutting or stitches. It doesn't hurt. I had it. As far as I know there is no medicine or pill that relieves jaundice.
