I'd say go for it. My husband's Onc told him that even though the surgeons felt they got everything (at least what they could see or knew about), that there is always a possibility of rogue cells and that chemo will be his best bet to get at them. He's also going to have radiation. After 6 weeks of 5FU combined with radiation they will consider whether to go for further chemo with Gemzar. (My husband is a bit different in that the docs were concerned about his 'margins' not being totally clear). But even so, it seems that some chemo after a whipple is very often recommended.
