Debbie, first let me say how sorry I am to hear about your FIL. Your FIL really should see an oncologist as well as a radiologist as soon as possible. Preferrably one that has treated PC before. Many patients do quite well while on chemo and radiation. Others get sick. PC is different in each patient so I can't say how your FIL will react to treatments but he does need to learn what his options are. Several patients have held this awful cancer at bay while on treatments and they say they lived a pretty good life while doing so. Some patients do so poorly while on the treatments and many patients quit the treatments because of the severe side effects. I would recommend that he learn what his options are and give a round or two of chemo a try. If he doesn't like the way he feels he can always stop the treatments and who knows he might be one of the lucky ones that does well. Let us know what he decides. Hugs Lillie
